Our services
As SLTs, we provide a variety of assessments to help children and adults with speech, language, and communication difficulties. These assessments can be used to identify the nature and severity of the difficulty, determine the factors that are contributing to the difficulty, and develop a plan of intervention.
We offer a range of services, including:
- Initial assessments: These are typically conducted when a child or adult is first referred to an SLT. The purpose of an initial assessment is to gather information about the child or adult’s communication skills and to identify any areas of difficulty.
- Review assessments: These are conducted to monitor the child’s or adult’s progress and to make sure that the intervention plan is still appropriate.
- Assessments for schools (EHCP): These are conducted to gather information about a child’s speech, language, and communication needs in order to determine whether they are eligible for an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
- Assessments for tribunals: These are conducted to provide evidence to a tribunal about a child’s speech, language, and communication needs.
- Home therapy: We offer home therapy for children and adults who are unable to attend our clinic. This can be a great option for families who live in rural areas or who have difficulty transporting their child to the clinic.
Therapies at schools: We also offer therapies at schools for children who need additional support. This can be a great way for children to receive therapy in a familiar and comfortable environment.
We offer both one-to-one and small group therapy sessions. We believe that the best approach for each child or adult will vary depending on their individual needs. We will work with you to decide which type of therapy is the best fit for you or your child.
If you are concerned that you or your child may have a speech, language, or communication difficulty, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We would be happy to discuss your concerns and answer any questions you may have.
